Routes

Creating routes to satisfy customer pickup schedules is easy with CRIS. Simply choose Routes from the menu and select Add Route. From the Route Input/Edit window, you can set the following information to meet any customer’s pickup needs:

  • Choose from 6 route types
  • Designate a route number
  • Input desired pickup time
  • Add comments for the route

Route types avaible in CRIS include:
  • Weekly: For customers that need a pickup occurring on a weekly basis, one or more days per week.
  • Interval: For customers that need a pickup on interval frequency such as every other Monday
  • Calendar: For customers that need a pickup on a specified day, regardless of the date, such as the 2nd Monday of the month
  • Absolute: For customers that need a pickup on a specified date, regardless of the day of the week, such as the 15th of the month
  • First Weekdays of the Month: For customers that need pickups on a specified number of business days at the beginning of the month, such as the first 3 days of the month.
  • Last Weekdays of the Month: For customers that need pickups on a specified number of business days at the end of the month, such as the last 3 days of the month.
